Structural Characteristics

Valve Plate: The valve plate (butterfly plate) is in a disk shape and is made of 304 stainless steel, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The valve plate can rotate around the axis within the valve seat by 90° or less to achieve the opening, closing, and regulating functions of the valve.

Valve Body: The valve body is made of cast iron, which possesses sufficient strength and stiffness to withstand certain pressures and temperatures. The cast iron material also exhibits good casting and processing properties, facilitating the manufacture of complex valve body shapes.

Sealing Structure: The sealing structure of the butterfly valve typically employs elastic sealing elements, such as rubber sealing rings or metal sealing rings. These elements form an effective seal between the 304 stainless steel valve plate and the valve seat, ensuring no leakage when the valve is in the closed state.
